The Memphis in May International Festival brings cultural events to community centers, museums, galleries, performing arts centers and schools throughout the month of May.  Cornerstone events include the Beale Street Music Festival and World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest but as each year a different country is honoured, the International events pay homage to the honorees past, present, and future.  In 2016 the honoured country is Canada and thus an invitation for the Montreal Jewish community to join in the festivities through the exhibition of “Stories Told”.
