The stories we tell...
CHILDREN'S LIBRARY

The NBCL offers a variety of programs for pre-schoolers which includes wonderful story times and music programs.  Our fabulous Mother-Daughter Book Discussion Group is always insightful, inspiring and informative.  We provide many different activities throughout the year that coincide with the Jewish holidays and family vacations.

Our monthly Children’s Entertainment Series gives children and their parents a chance to see and hear musicians, magicians, puppet shows, etc. at a very reasonable cost. This series has been running for many years and is a great success.

We hold an Annual Girls’ Night Out Evening (usually in November) with a current, popular author, where Moms and Daughters get to share this special time together.  Our successful participation in the Blue Metropolis event brings authors to the Library to speak about their books and their writing experience.  Every second year a Young Authors’ Workshop is offered to students in grades and 5 and 6 of our Jewish Day School system and they get to spend a day writing and talking to well-known, international authors.
