Virtual Exhibits

Digitizing heritage for greater access!

Since 1914 the Archives' mandate has been to collect, preserve, and make available the social, economic, and cultural accomplishments of Montreal's Jewish community using original documents, photographs and recordings. Our clients are local, national and international, made up of both Jews and non-Jews, who regard us as a vital educational source.

The Archives house collections of individuals, institutions, associations, and schools depicting the history and life of the community during the past 200 years. The collections include minutes, correspondence, programs, flyers, posters, manuscripts, artifacts, audio-visual materials and more than 15,000 photographs.
