Membership

Membership is free and open to everyone. Just come to the library and register in person!

No, membership is open to anyone regardless of residency.

Membership is valid for one calendar year and can be renewed at the library circulation desk.

Children under 16 require a parent or guardian to register.

Borrowing & Returns

Members can borrow books, audio recordings, and movies. Other media like e-books and audiobooks can be borrowed online.

Loan periods vary: books – three weeks (maximum of two renewals), audiobooks – three weeks.

Yes, items can be renewed online or in person and by telephone if they haven’t been requested by another member.

Other patrons will not have access to these shared resources. We no longer charge late fees, however we ask that you return the materials as soon as possible. If the material is six weeks overdue, we will charge the full amount of the item.

Yes, through our interlibrary loan program. Please ask a staff member for assistance.

You can place a hold online or with staff. You’ll be notified when the item is ready for pickup.

Digital Resources

We offer lectures, book clubs, workshops, family events, cultural programs, and special seasonal activities.

Some are! The cost will be listed in the event details on the Events page. Our children’s programs are free, and some special events may include perks such as pizza dinners!

All our events are posted on JLive. You can access this website online or via the app. You can also register in person at the circulation desk. All our events require registration, even if they are free!

Yes, select programs are available online via Zoom. Check the program calendar for details. Please note that these events require registration. A Zoom link will be sent to you via email upon registration.

Yes! We offer an array of different programs geared for all ages. They include storytimes, book clubs, educational workshops, and teen activities.

Yes, we provide programs celebrating Jewish culture, language, and heritage, including Sephardic, Ashkenazi, and Russian Jewish events.
